I have an active imagination. It’s a great thing, it really helps when you go through those long dry patches. I would much rather live in my imagination than in the real world (who the hell wouldn’t right?!), but sometimes I think I let it go too far.
For instance. I, have magic hair.
When I let my hair grow out I get a lot more attention from men. Maybe women too but I am really bad a picking up on that, and also at getting that to happen. (Please, tell me how do you manage to pull another woman without you both being really drunk? It’s not like we haven’t talked about having sex with each other, it’s just I don’t know how to make it become a real thing rather than a fantasy, or threesome thing. ANYWHO; back to the topic in hand.) I’m not talking about hair on my head, like any self respecting woman in London I pretend I get it “trimmed” every 6 months, knowing full well it’s been about 18 months since I last could afford to do that. I meaning the womanhood hair. The full on 70s porn bush effect.
When I rock the bush I get so many men. No kidding I’ve had men fall over themselves to get into bed with me, it wasn’t just the alcohol! Honest. HOWEVER, the second I shave or wax. (mmmmm that warm wax and delicious pain) Boom, all attention dries up until the spring growth comes back to the bush.
It’s happened so frequently I joke about it now. I’ll call up my lovely sexy sensei and say “I’ve Delilah’d myself!” before then telling him of the wonderful sex I had planned that has now fallen through because when the beautician ripped out my hair she pulled out my sex appeal along with it.
It’s started to get to the point where I am concerned even shaving has the same effect. Luckily I shave only for me so if I don’t get laid because of it I still get to feel the sexy silky smoothness.
Still if it means I am Rapunzel, (she only gets the guy when she’s got ALL the hair) I can live with that. Well, ideally not the living trapped in a tower, despite the free food and accommodation. Maybe I just have to remember, the sweetest fruits grow on bushes and make the best tarts!
